IMPORTANT NOTICES
- User Name and Password: in order to use the online entry system a username and password is required. Contact Lauren Marks or Nancy Mewis in the OBS office to obtain them. You will be able to use the same username and password for all future entries and sales.
- Entries: The deadline for entries is April 7th, 2023.
- Entry Fees: The entry fee for the June sale is $600 (Six hundred dollars). All entries are to be accompanied by either a Jockey Club certificate or an entry fee.
- Sales Commission: Minimum Commission is $500. See paragraph #4 of the Consignor’s Contract for the commission schedule.
- Registration Papers: The Jockey Club Registration Certificate and all other required documents must be on file in the OBS administration office on or before June 2, 2023. (See #8 of Consignor’s Contract for late fee).
Sales information
OBS will again offer Online Bidding during the Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials. The Spring Sale will be streamed live on the OBS website at obssales.com, YouTube, and the Blood-Horse, Daily Racing Form, TDN, and Past The Wire websites.
Lastly, You can access the catalog via iPad at the equine line sales catalog app. Moreover, the App allows users to download and view the catalog, receive updates and results, record notes, and provide innovative search, sort, and rating capabilities. Sales Results
Again, Sales results will be available on the OBS website, updated during each session of the Sale. In addition, the latest news regarding OBS graduates, sales schedules, nominations, credit requests, travel information, and other news relevant to OBS consignors and customers is also available.
