Sales information

OBS Spring Sale of Two-Year-Old’s In Training will be streamed live via the OBS website as well as the DRF, TDN, and BloodHorse websites.

Current information about OBS sales, consignors, and graduates is now also available via social media sites Facebook and Twitter. Also, a link on the homepage directs users to either site.

Sales results are available on the OBS website, updated hourly during each session of every sale. In addition, the latest news regarding OBS graduates, sales schedules, nominations, credit requests, travel information and other news relevant to OBS consignors and customers is also available.

• User Name and Password: in order to use the online entry system a user name and password is required. Contact Lauren Marks or Nancy Mewis in the OBS office to obtain them. You will be able to use the same user name and password for all future entries and sales.

• Entries: The deadline for entries is February 3rd, 2021. The catalog will be limited to 1,200 horses. OBS will use multiple criteria to determine accepted entries which include, but are not limited to, sire averages, pedigree, sale history and cross entries. Criteria is based on horses entered and is not predetermined.

• Entry Fees: The entry fee for the Spring Two Year Olds In Training Sale is $600 (six hundred dollars). All entries are to be accompanied by either a Jockey Club certificate or entry fee.

• Sales Commission: Minimum Commission is $1,000. See paragraph #4 of Consignor’s Contract for commission schedule.

All entries must be accompanied by Jockey Club Certificate or Entry Fee. Entries will be reviewed based on several factors including pedigree evaluation, sales histories, and sire averages.
