Ocala Breeders’ Feed and Supply loads container and feed ships to Saint Lucia this week.
The first container of horse feed from OBFS shipped to St. Lucia this week. The container was Racing Blend horse feed manufactured on Tuesday morning. Moreover, Racing Blend is often a top choice for feed in the Marion Country racehorse industry. Furthermore, its formula is top-of-the-line for racehorses. Undoubtedly it is designed for horses in heavy training, yearling and sales prep.

Momentum grew in 2019 as the vision of increasing tourism and drawing thoroughbred racing to Saint Lucia built. Above all, the racetrack facilities of phase one completed and the government announced its support. Indeed, lifestyle and racing will draw a significant international audience to Saint Lucia.
A vision of the China Horse Club made up of private investors has come to be. Also, in October of 2019, 40 Thoroughbreds from America arrived. Undoubtedly, the delivery of the horses via an IRT plane was unlike anything the Caribbean nation had ever seen and brought chills to many witnesses.
“What most people didn’t think would happen is happening,” St. Lucia Prime Minister Allen Chastanet said. “The track is here, the horses are here, the facilities are ready to go.”
A successful race in December was just the start of the racing in Saint Lucia.

Track personnel contacted OBS General Manager, Ty Springer, for information on OBS Racing Feeds Line. Also, they inquired about pricing, loading containers and the shipping arrangements to the island. Springer has experience in shipping feed and products in containers. OBFS has shipped relief supplies to hurricane victims in Puerto Rico and sells feed to other foreign countries

Racing Blend is used by many of the consigners in the OBS Sale’s with proven success. Despite leaving the country, those horses will remain on the same feed after arrival in Saint Lucia.
